In this paper I argue for the relevance of philosophy Hans-Georg Gadamer contemporary feminist scholarship on epistemic injustice and oppression. Specifically, set out to Gadamerian notion hermeneutical openness as an important hermeneutic virtue, a potential remedy existing injustices. doing so follow philosophers such Linda Martín Alcoff Georgia Warnke that have adopted insights purpose social philosophy.
